SPRAWL CRAWL

This is a cyberpunk instrumental midi synth record

All my songs get developed into fully realized MIDI compositions

As a result, many of my MIDI pieces are just demos/backing tracks/performance guides, meant to become full songs when they get acoustic instruments, vocals and the total studio treatment

This collection came about from wanting to have a set that was intended to be instrumental electronic from the get-go

I did end up adding hand percussion, bass guitar and electric guitar, but kept them instrumental on purpose, resisting my usual MO of just writing lyrics, hiring a drummer, an replacing the beat

So, here you go, the first set of MIDIIITIS music that is meant to be just what it is

I'd love to hear other songwriters' takes on what songs they think these should become, and I'd like to make a few versions myself

Until these and other visions are realized, I hope this record complements your cyberpunk video game/tabletop RPG/machinima/science fiction TV show experience
